BJP national VP asks ‘karyakartas’ to have an ‘accommodative spirit’

National BJP vice-president, Dr M Chuba Ao asked BJP “karyakartas” in Mokokchung district to have an “accommodative spirit” so that the party’s policies and programmes would reach every nook and corner of the state.

In a press release, media & IT cell, BJP Mokokchung district informed that during the meeting, the vice president said that a political party should not hold grudges but always look for ways and means to convince the people through the BJP’s policies and programme to ensure that the people move forward. 

Dr Chuba was on a visit to Mokokchung to conduct a consultative meeting with BJP Mokokchung district officials, mandals (assembly constituency), and morchas (frontal organisations) which was held at the BJP office. 

He was hopeful that the coming years would bring enough opportunity for the party to come to power and carry on the dream of a developed India that the party envisaged. Urging the “karyakartas” not to be discouraged, Dr Chuba challenged them to find opportunity in the midst of difficulty so that the party’s developmental programmes could be achieved to their full potentials. 

Earlier, BJP Mokokchung district president Imolemba Jamir in his welcome address briefly narrated about the life and political career of Dr Chuba Ao. 

Short speeches were also delivered by the presidents of 24 Angetyongpang mandal, 28 Koridang mandal, Yuva Morcha, minority Morcha and Mahila morcha. 

The programme was chaired by president of ST Morcha, BJP Mokokchung Oyimpong Longchar while BJP Mokokchung district vice president Lanutoshi Longkumer invoked God’s blessings.
