Block level sensitization programme on Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission (NSRLM) RD block Akuhaito, Zunheboto under department of Rural Development was held at public hall, Akuhaito town on October 22. 

A press release by RD block, Akuhaito stated that block programme manager, P. Ghokheli Shohe highlighted the overview of NRLM. She also disseminated the significant of NRLM programme for rural poor which would benefit the common people through diverse community institution. Tokuho N Sumi, area coordinator (A/C) elucidated the SGSY and NRLM in brief.
District coordinator MIS, Hiuto Chophy highlighted the progress and status of the NSRLM in Zunheboto district and DDU-GKY/Skills development which mainly focused on unemployed youth and drop-out youth. He appealed to the village councils and VDBs to extend full support to the mission. Khukiye Sema, BDO-cum-BMM, Akuhaito block also shared his experiences and exhorted the staff and the participants for progress and success of the mission.
Earlier, invocation was said by pastor Naghuto New Baptist Church which was chaired by area coordinator Akuhaito block, S. Davis and welcome address delivered by Z. Vitoka Yeptho. Hukiye Chishi, area coordinator (A/C), delivered vote of thanks and pastor, Imlomi Baptist Church said the benediction. 
The sensitization programme was attended by village council chairmen, GBs, VDB secretaries, church leaders, STH members and existing SHG leaders under Akuhaito block.
RD Block Akuluto: The sensitization programme on NSRLM was also organized by RD block Akuluto, Zunheboto district under the department of Rural Development on October 20 at Akuluto town hall. 
A press release from RD block Akuluto stated that at the sensitization programme block programme manager Akuluto RD block, Shihani Tsuipu highlighted the overview of NRLM, which was launched as a restructured of Integrated Rural Development Programme (IRDP) and Swarnajayanti Gram Swarojgar Yojana (SGSY). He said that the significant of NRLM programme for rural poor will benefit the common people through diverse community institution. He also emphasized the gender issue that need to be address in the society and said that unlike previous programmes, NRLM not only focused on SHGs promotion but for all round development of the well being. District coordinator MIS, Hiuto V Chophy highlighted the progress and status of NSRLM in Zunheboto district and DDUGKY/Skills development which was mainly focused on unemployed youth and drop-out youth. He also asserted that NRLM was progressing all over India, where Nagaland was one of the top performing states. He therefore appealed to the village councils and VDBs to extend full support to the mission
Earlier, the programme chaired by area coordinator Akuluto block, Lovito Sumi began with an invocation by pastor Shichimi Baptist Church, Kiyelu Yepthomi. 
Area coordinator Akuluto block, Alice Assumi delivered the vote of thanks. The programme was attended by VCCs, GBs, VDB secretaries, church leaders, STH members, student leaders and SHG leaders under Akuluto block.
