BMSCH Kohima organizes drawing competition in honour of police personnel

 On the occasion of Police Commemoration Day on October 21, the Bright Morning Star Children Home (BMSCH) Kohima has organised a drawing competition for children at Home.

The programme was organised to honour and appreciate the police personnel for their selfless sacrifices and protecting the people in all fronts. 

Altogether, 11 children participated in the completion, out of which Thepfulhoutuo Khro bagged the first position. Ruth and Medongunuo stood second and third position respectively.

Chizokho Vero, correspondent, Morung Express was the judge for the competition.

In her speech, Aleno Angami, Superintendent BMSCH encouraged the children to respect people in uniform “as they protect us and keep us safe from all threats.” She also handed over the gift to the winners.

Among the many, the drawing carried scripts like “Your courage will always be remembered,” “Our heroes are those who risk their lives everyday to protect our country and make it a better place,” “We stand for you. Thank you for the sacrifice. We give our salute,” “We salute to the bravery of the police who risk their life for us,” etc.
