Bollywood actress Kalki Koechlin interviews Naga Lad Jenpu Rongmei

 In what may seem to be a motivational and encouraging moment for the young Nagas, Jenpu Rongmei, founder and chief functionary of CAN Youth, was recently selected by BBC World service radio, and was interviewed and featured in their pod cast “My Indian life”, hosted by Bollywood actress, Kalki Koechlin in Mumbai on September 26. 

My Indian Life is a podcast that delves into what it means to be a young Indian in the 21st century, where every episode pivots chiefly on the life of young Indians, casting primarily for young Indians.

Jenpu was selected to be interviewed and featured, based on his struggling life, his motivation towards start up of CAN YOUTH and his involvement with younger generations including drop outs, on empowering and developing. 

It can be noted that he is also the recipient of many awards, such as, The Telegraph True Legend Excellence Award by Mahatma Gandhi University, Maja Koene Award by CESCI and a fellow of Acumen India, Change looms and North East Youth Involve.

He is the first Naga to be featured in the pod cast “My Indian life”.
