BSGA organizes testing camp

Bharat Scouts and Guides Association (BSGA) organized a three-day testing camp for Dwitya and Tritiya Sopan test for the scouts and guides at Holy Child School, Burma Camp, Dimapur from June 7 to 9.  A press release from District Scouter, Lawrence Guria, stated that during the camp, scouts and guides were tested in first aid, compass, types of fire, estimation, pioneering etc., where the campers went through rigorous training in order to earn the badge.  The leaders of the course were district organising commissioner (guide), Kevileno Haikam and district organising commissioner (scout), D.M. Agay Joseph, while the two chief examiners were ADOC (G), Viheli Kiba and S M Joshua Aier.  Three officials from state headquarters, Kohima, namely ASOC, Imlisunep, SOC, John and Quarter Master, Kekhrie, attended the camp as technical observers. The camp was attended by 160 scouts and guides from seven schools, 20 Scout masters and guide captains.
