BSI Pfutsero branch inaugurated

Bible Society of India (BSI) inaugurated its branch at Pfutsero town at CBCC Mission Centre, T. Chikri on July 8. 

The inaugural programme was attended by pastors and leaders of 17 churches, CBCC and BTC staff. A press release from BSI Dimapur auxiliary secretary, Yiepetso Wezah stated that, the aim of BSI was to provide Bible to all believers of Jesus Christ and even to non-believers. At present BSI, Dimapur Auxiliary is covering 111 tribes in Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Nagaland and Karbi Along district of Assam. BSI does not only translate, produces and supplies Bibles, but also engaged in evangelism work by providing Children’s Bible to needy children, free Bibles to destitute women and tracts to non-Christians.

President of BSI Kohima branch, Those Kraho shared the activities of BSI. Zakiebito Terhuja media in-charge pointed out the importance of media in spreading the Word of God in today’s world.

BSI Pfutsero branch is led by Thekho Rova, pastor Poumai Baptist Church as president, Aba Dazo, principal CMHSS as secretary and Ngotso Dai, associate pastor Rukizu as treasurer. The new office bearers were installed by CBCC executive secretary, Khrotso Mero. 

BSI also expressed gratitude to CBCC for sponsoring the inauguration programme.

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
