Baptist Theological College (BTC) Pfutsero held its 29th Foundation Day Thanksgiving service on July 15.
Zeneikhonuo Vimero, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pfutsero, graced the occasion as the speaker. She shared on the topic “God’s Divine Power” based on 2 Peter 1:3-11.
According to a press release from the college principal, Yiepetso Wezah, the ADC challenged the congregation saying that all believers must possess the divine nature of God. She added that the knowledge of Christ can be attained through meditating on the word of God and prayer. “We must live a life acceptable to God,” she asserted.
Vimero also challenged the college community to practice brotherly and sisterly love. She cited examples from her own family about how they try to help the most needy people. She urged BTC to bring the college under the banner “Zero Waste College” by introducing Wet Dustbins and Dry Dustbins.
The wet waste can be converted to manure and dry waste can be recycled; the waste which cannot be converted should be burnt, she suggested.
The thanksgiving service was attended by CBCC and CWWS staff, pastors and Church leaders. The college expressed its heartfelt thanks to all the churches and believers for supporting the ministry of the college.
