Byju’s Learning App, world’s largest learning app, and Byju’s Learnning TV was launched at SXHSS, Jalukie on June 6.

Byju’s is India’s largest ed-tech company and creator of the most loved k-12 app in the country. It aims to help students learn better. With 30 million students learning from BYJU’S today, it has become one of the most preferred education technology platforms across the globe.

Inaugurating the Byjus learning TV, chief guest Dr. G.Dhanan Jaya Rao, MV Sc, PhD, dean of College of Veterinary Sciences &AH, Central Agricultural University, Imphal, lauded the efforts of the management to teach the children through digitalisation. He exhorted the students to get motivated by the digital learning aids in order to optimise the learning outcome. “It’s a boon, for you and a blessing from God” he added.

Rev.Fr.George Antony, principal of SXHSS, Jalukie stated that “we are living through a time of profound change. There is a digital revolution, and the incredible advancement in technology characterises our time offering fresh challenges in the field of education.” He added that today’s students cannot be taught with yesterday’s strategies and there is always a better way of doing things. In this fast paced world, future belongs to those who can dream before it becomes obvious, said Antony. St.Xaviers believes in change, because ‘innovation and excellence’ is the motto, he added.

Anirban Dam, the Zonal Head of  Byju’s NE, appreciated the initiative of the institution for bridging digital gap existing in the area by introducing Byjus Learning TV at St.Xaviers for the first time in North East. He also highlighted the vistas of opportunities offered by Byju’s Learning strategies to widen the horizons of knowledge for the students.

The programme was compered by Barnabas. Earlier, Lungsabiliu read the Word of God and songs were also presented by the students. Rev.Sr.Marina proposed the vote of thanks.
