C-Edge conducts programme in journalistic writing

C-Edge College under department of English conducted a special lecture on “career option in journalistic writing and its link with literature” with associate editor of Morung Express, Imlisanen Ao as speaker on November 5. 

A press release from C-Edge College HoD Management Studies & IQAC coordinator, Wapanginla Ao stated that, the speaker said “Language is used by those in powers to confuse us” and journalism is the medium to break through those barriers and how the English literature student should act upon. 
He also added that in this fast growing technology age it was difficult to filter through what was truth and not, whereby he asserted that one needed to be careful. There was also practical exercise where the students of English Honours BA II, IV and VI participated. The programme was initiated by Meyatemsu assistant professor as the chairperson.
