Cadets trained on fire fighting at ongoing CATC-113

In the ongoing Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC-113) for NCC Cadets held at IG Stadium, Kohima a team under SI C Patton from fire station, Kohima imparted theory and practical classes for cadets on fire fighting on February 3. 

A press release from 24 Nagaland (I) Coy NCC Kohima stated that demonstration on fire fighting was conducted by fire fighters for the cadets. 
The theory and practical classes included types of fire, causes of fire, handling of various fire equipments and prevention of fire accidents. 
Col Daniel Lotzem CO 24 Nagaland (I) Coy NCC Kohima was also present during the fire fighting demonstration and also motivated the cadets to work hard and make full use of the training being imparted during the camp. 
He also emphasised on the importance of fire fighting drills and its practical applications in day today’s life. 
The commanding officer on behalf of group headquarter NCC Kohima and 24 Nagaland (I) Coy NCC Kohima expressed gratitude to the team of Fire and Emergency Services FHQ Nagaland Kohima in conducting fire fighting capsule for the cadets.
