The Coming Generation (TCG) “Leading the Lead” with Eco Angels  conducted a campaign “Nagaland says no to plastic” an initiative under the project “Nagaland 4 Change” in Naga Bazar Colony on July 22.
A press release from TCG media cell said that the main objective of the campaign was to discuss on the causes, consequences and alternatives of using plastic bags. The members also encouraged the habit of using cloth bags, available in every household. Discussion on whether to make Naga Bazar colony a ‘plastic free zone’ was also discussed. Francis Ruangmei, the chief administrator of the organization insisted that alternatives should first come from within each person only then the true change would follow. The campaign was witnessed by the council members and the youth of the colony. Alternatives and feedbacks were also received from the colony members.

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
