Can technological democracy protect the environment

 (From previous issue)

Any effort or freak accident leading to crystalize the advancement of technology would result into a series of fatal cumulative repercussions. Economies would falter and thereby causing breakdown among interlinking systems. We should allow for the technology to mature by continuing to steadily utilizing the reliable sources of energy at hand. With only little time to spare, we should be very cautious though and take precautionary steps by opting for hybrid alternatives.

Leave aside the climate issues arising from global warming just this once and think about the passing of Apophis (meteor) which will come into a close proximity with earth of no closer than 31,200 kilometres, but this will create a huge impact on the gravity of earth, leading to instant climate catastrophe. This kind of problems exist outside the farthest range of our sensory perception, but only because of technology, are we able to reconcile with the looming threat and deploy some form of high grade military operations. There are some conspiracy theories circulating on the internet reading- some powerful nations are building projects to bombard the projectile with nuclear force if Apophis pose a real threat to humanity. Too bad the dinosaurs did not have space stations.

E: Role of democracy on this

It is clear enough democracy is a naturally people oriented body, and social democracy even more over. Although we may not have means to access into the clandestine politician’s dishonest gains, the overtly fiddling policies remain transparent in a democracy, but again in social democracy, the idea is simple enough and tacit for both the people and the system. The collective intelligence dictates the system, and not the other way around. The people look at the system with their natural rights and onus, while the system deliver the prerogative and propriety assets by also looking at the living condition of the people, other special departments and the objective world in a simple whole covering idea — the system, based on this sight, delve into each issue with crosscheck paraphernalia as a whole.

Democracy is not hard a concept up for grasp, or rather it is a natural obvious objective reality like the needle in the compass that always point to the true North, a little discussion turns the light on. It is tacit for everyone, and a more transparent one, quite easily at that. But what role can democracy play to combat the axiomatic climate crisis? The answer is surprisingly simple. The government should listen and work with the people to crest up efforts through amalgamated code. The course of action should involve mass education and awareness on the thematic, through simple and absorbing campaign.

Problems like hearing every misinformation from social media or verbal interaction could pose as the only stick out to thwart the campaign. But either through vocal or hearsay forum, a real effort would with all the clear steps and inventory ready, would attract the attention of the people nonetheless. And nobody’s complaining on that, except the ones who are invested on this end for profit through environment exploitation, some right opportunist who have already flagged their income on the rotting end of the system, delirious savants and their minions etc.

Lastly, this democratic action becomes a primary directive to further technology, walk stead-fastly, utilize natural resources for the collective (resources that took millions of years to form like coal and crude oil; billion for the mineral ores), quickly climb to higher and safer technological timeline and leave behind the contagious and hazardous products.

[PERORATION 1]

Social democracy is increasingly gaining interest among intellectuals and avid informed citizens alike. I would like to present an instance where in one of the groups in Facebook, I had the privilege to experience and note down (well, screenshot) a virtual discussion on social democracy, which I will reenact it here based on identity discretion (I have the files with me for proof of evidence).

User 1 (makes a post): “Proletariat! It’s time to embrace *communist symbol.”

User 2 (replies a comment): I long for a social democracy rather than pure rule of the power aristocrats. Social democracy is essentially a democratic communism but unlike the ones ushered by the Soviets and China. It’s a rule of the intellectual elite with total transparency (aside from national security matters), that way, an egalitarian policy and paraphernalia can thrive to advance and distribute wealth proportionally.

User 3: We have social democracy now.

User 2: I think your emphasis on social democracy is based on economic lines. The fact that the government allows both central and capitalist to generate economy. That in itself is social democracy but on a lower hierarchy of the system, which makes it a non existent entity in the paraphernalia of the system itself. A newer social democracy is a system conditioning under its archetype. Where the system itself is socially democratic. It can allow for both economic sectors (central and capitalist) to act as an agent for economy gains, but in matters of policy and direction, the inept consensus is made to go through a crunch down process to filter the narrative, and this way, well calculated and ALL friendly political steps are made feasible to apply for growth, stability, environmental care and ascension to higher level of human civilization.

User 1: How does social democracy deal with poverty?

User 2:  Social democracy is objectivity oriented in the realistic sense. It knows total poverty cannot be eradicated anytime sooner after its inception. It has goals and stepwise target.

It initially will utilize both sectors of economic agents to provide jobs and include many diversity of human activities, to expand growth and economic asset, increase innovation and consumption to increase GDP.

Meanwhile, it provides unprecedented and unorthodox pragmatism to accommodate poverty and homeless people with basic but revolutionised necessities to live a healthy and access to tech lifestyle.

It accounts the reality that blunt measure to shove rapid employment would lead to overload and crash of the system. However, it facilitates that less fortunate end of the society as a means of reserve for later use.

It also gives ample opportunity and material grants and aids to innovators and entrepreneurs to quickly become richer, but limit excess surplus of individual wealth.

By this way, it builds a vast resource tank of human and monetary values, only to further the civilization and slowly but swiftly assemble almost every individual into the growth ship.

While the system itself becomes a rich entity to provide every one with all the technological upgrades and free food source eventually.

Its main focus is to enhance technological tool to create link in human condition and conflict priorities.

[PERORATION 2]

I found this discussion very healthy and intellectual stirring as well as an awareness of real lifestyles and unconscious duties we participates by simply living our regular lives and trying to do the right thing, fitting into every box only so much possible, sharing and understanding the plight of the proletariat elsewhere, being a human with all our personal quirks - in every opportunity we can afford. I know you guys can relate to this kind of conversation and encounter with people from distant and far region and ethnicity. Well, that’s my experience, what’s your?
