CAN Youth conducts capacity building workshop

Capacity building workshop on “discovering self and career opportunity” was conducted for youths of Signal Angami village at its panchayat hall by CAN Youth on July 9. 
A press release by CAN Youth secretary, Zhove Lohe stated that CAN Youth has targeted to facilitate 10 village/colony every month within Dimapur district. Kivitoli Sema program facilitator, CAN Youth enlightened the youths about the program plan and vision of the workshop. CAN Youth founder and Jenpu Rongmei enlightened the youth about skills and talents that go wasted and undiscovered while in search of government service.  He encouraged the youths of Signal Angami village through conducting different activities related to capacity building how to succeed in life by managing proper effort, skills and hard work. He also challenged the youths to be self dependent and work for the sustainability of one’s life.
Some of the youths shared that government should start a program where young entrepreneurs could pitch their ideas to government, bringing more private sector markets and increased development in tourism sector. CAN Youth team was assisted by MSW Interns from Bosco Institute Jorhat, Assam.
