NSCN (I-M) Lotha region CAO has reminded the firm involved in the construction of Wokha-Merapani road to seek help and co-operation of the Lotha Hobo and all concerned to avoid the laws taking its one course of action.

In a letter addressed to the CS Infra Construction Pvt. Ltd., Contractor, the NSCN (I-M) kilonser and Lotha region CAO Mozamo Ngullie stated that the firm has “utterly failed” to respond to the Lotha Hoho’s patient and positive invitations aimed at seeking the opportunity to foster mutual understanding and extend necessary co-operations to the firm in the ongoing Wokha-Merapani road works.

However, Lotha region CAO stated that due to firm’s adamant attitude to the initiatives of the Lotha Hoho, the hoho was left with no option but compelled to seek legal proceedings against the firm.

CAO maintained that the firm’s act of “hiding like a ghost” has triggered speculations in the minds of the public.

Stating that Wokha-Merapani road was the “only and foremost important road” of the people of the district, CAO has asked the firm not to fail in its duties to provide them a good road.

CAO expressed hope that the firm would respect the sentiments of the public and come forward without further delay in bringing out a good and all weather-road. Lotha region CAO also assured to extend co-operations for success of the road project.
