Capacity building training programme in Kma

Department of Art and Culture organized a training programme on museum management and archaeology under capacity building in Kohima on May 7. 

The programme was sponsored by the Ministry of Culture Government of India. The training programme was graced by Commissioner and Secretary, department of Art and Culture, Ahola Those as the special invitee.  

The resource persons were Dr. Tiatoshi Jamir, Professor, Head of Department History & Archaeology, Nagaland University, Mepusangba, guest faculty, Department of History & Archaeology, NEHU, Tura Campus, West Garo Hills, Meghalaya, C.Rongsen Pongener, assistant director, Art & Culture. 

The topics on field method in archaeology, role of museum in conservation and preservation of heritage, and cultural property, display storage, transportation and marketing were deliberated. 

Launched on December 3,1990. Nagaland Post is the first and highest circulated newspaper of Nagaland state. Nagaland Post is also the first newspaper in Nagaland to be published in multi-colour.
