Capital punishment for Apr 29 murder accused demanded

Chesezu Village Council (CVC), Chesezu village head GB and Chesezu Youth Organisation (CYO) have demanded capital punishment for the four persons allegedly involved in the in the murder of Nesato Swüro on April 29 at D. Block Kohima.

In a joint statement, CVC chairman, Müleyi Khesoh, Chesezu village head GB, Theyeveyi Nyekha, Chesezu Youth Organisation (CYO) president, Senüzo Swüro and CYO general secretary, Mhasizo Nienu said that they have identified the accused as Neilalie Louchü (21) of Zadima village, Chiephobozou (BA II student), Kikhrukhrietuo Venyo  (21) of Thevopisu village, Chozuba (unemployed), Thepfünilhou Theünuo (23) of Seiyhama village, Chiephobozou  (Peon, Nagaland Secretariat) and John Chettri (19) of Nepal (driver).
The signatories said that the village has been patiently waiting for the law to take befitting course of action.  
However, lamented that they have not heard of any outcome for which they have raised the following demands- culprits should be given capital punishment; under any circumstances, they should not be released on bail; if the culprits were released, the officers in-charge of the case and the bailers shall be held responsible and Chesezumi citizens shall not be held responsible if anything happens to the culprits once they are released.
