Career guidance for students

Model Christian College Kohima (MCCK) conducted a career guidance programme on November 16 at its college, attended by 113 students of B.Sc and BA streams. 

A press release by MCCK stated that, resource persons were, Katini Eshena, researcher of Peace Channel, Alino S Chishi district animator of Peace Channel and Pursungit, social development specialist of PMAY. 

Alino S Chishi started with the introduction on the importance of career guidance for students to build confidence, help them acquire knowledge, information about best career opportunities, and skills to identify career options and make one career decision leading a meaningful and purposeful life.  She shared different ways and techniques to set goal to help the students achieve their goals. 

Katini shared on the importance of decision making. Pursungit presented on different careers available after the degree of B.Sc and BA. He shared about the availability of higher courses, various top colleges and institutes, various fellowships and scholarships for students.
