CBCMHK Fathers’ Camp culminates

Under the theme “Choose life so that you and your family may live”, a three day Fathers’ Camp of the Chakhesang Baptist Church Ministers’ Hill, Kohima (CBCMHK) which began on October 17, successfully culminated on the 19th, at Nagaland Police Baptist Church Association (NPBCA) Mission Centre, Chumukedima, Dimapur.

According to a press statement issued by the Media Committee of the camp, Vimeno Lasetso, associate professor, Eastern Theological College (ETC) Jorhat spoke in three consecutive sessions on the topics “Family in the plan of God”, “Fathers role in parenting” and “Fathers role in the church and the society.” Rev. Dr. Vevo Pheasao, senior pastor, CBCMHK, shared the gospel on “Genuine spirituality and blessings for obedience” on the final day.
The highlights of the camp included, Bible study, gospel and interactive sessions, confessional sessions, group sharing, recreational sports events etc.
Amos team was declared champions of the football match while Daniel team came in second.
Altogether, 150 campers registered for the camp. The department of Men Fellowship has expressed gratitude to all the resource persons, camp officials, prayer warriors, cooks, all campers and well wishers for making the camp a grand success.
