CCLB 6th general session held; new team elected

Chokri Chakhesang Literature Board (CCLB) 6th general session was held at conference hall, Red Cross Building, Kohima with Zhovehu Lohe, convenor, advisory board as the session speaker on May 11.

A press release by incoming publicity & information secretary, Kuzhovesa Soho, stated that, Lohe in his speech stressed on the importance of integrity where he said, a leader of today’s context should be a practical leader, adding that a theorist leader should never allow ruling the society. 
Empathising on the importance of wisdom in one’s life to lead the people, he said, unless “we posses God’s wisdom, human limited knowledge might lead us to a danger situation” and urged the gathering to be prepared to face such challenges in future. He also added that in today’s context, numerous people from different walks of life were theoretically commanding its people without any practical implementation.
Advisory board members, Shetsieyi Ruho and Zapra Chakhesang also spoke during the session. Reports were presented by general secretary (Admn) Dr. Zhokho Venuh and treasurer Pusazo Venyo. A new team of office bearers was installed for the tenure 2019-2022 and was announced by search committee member, Vezuhu Keyho where Rev. Dr. Thupuo Nyekha dedicated the new team. 
The new team is led by Ariyi Nienu as chairman, general secretary (Admn) Vethikhoyi Khamo, general secretary (Techn) Vechisa Venuh along with 11 others. Vote of thanks was given by Pungotso Dzudo.
