CCPRA conducts w’shop on inter-cultural relationship

A workshop on inter-cultural relationship was organized by the Clark Centre for Peace Research and Action (CCPRA) for the graduating students of B.D and M.Th on July 10 at Clark Theological College (CTC) Aolijen. 
A press release from CTC Aolijen stated that, the resource person for the workshop was Arenla Mar, presently doing her Masters in Communication Studies at Bob Jones University, South Carolina, USA. She emphasized on two important areas, namely culture and need for intercultural competence in today’s world and barriers and assessment of intercultural competence. 
Altogether 78 students attended the workshop. The main objective of this workshop was to prepare the students to understand more about diverse cultures and communicate effectively as they faced the challenges and pressures of diverse cultural practices, values, beliefs and lifestyle in their ministries.
