CDPO Kohima organises special enrolment drive

As part of block activity for the observation of Matru Vandana Saptah 2019, an awareness programme and special enrolment drive was organised by the office of Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Kohima (Tribal) on December 6 at Kohima village, community hall.

A press release from CDPO Office, Kohima stated that resource person, CDPO Kohima (Tribal), C. James Ezung sensitised the community members by highlighting the importance of PMMVY scheme. 

He also encouraged the AWWs and AWHs to maintain record of beneficiaries so that no eligible beneficiary was left out. Besides PMMVY scheme, he also highlighted the activities of Poshan Abhiyaan, the importance of regular growth monitoring of children, the utility of ICDS-CAS. 

Sr. Supervisor from CDPO office, Kohima, (T) Reyivolu, also spoke on the scheme PMMVY and encouraged the community to come forward and participate in this program by sharing information to people around them.
