CFD to organise seminar on youth unemployment

Christian Forum Dimapur (CFD) held its executive body meeting on August 5 at Bishop's House Dimapur, to discuss on finding new avenues for the youth who are unemployed and those who have returned to Nagaland due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  

A press release by CFD chairman Rev. Moses Murry and secretary Rev. Fr. C. P. Anto stated that, CFD plan to organize a day seminar and a consultative on “Churches response to youth unemployment in Nagaland” on August 25 at Bethesda Campus, Dimapur. Therefore, it has invited all the pastors and church representatives to join in and discuss, plan together towards combating this burning issue.  Institutes and organisations working for the skill development are also requested to cooperate and collaborate in organizing it. Strict SOP will be maintained during the meet. 

Meanwhile, the CFD during the meeting also extended sincere appreciation to outgoing DC Anoop Khinchi, frontline workers, churches, NGOs and civil societies for their responsibility carried out during this pandemic crisis. CDF also welcome and assure their support to the new DC of Dimapur Rajesh Soundararajan.
