CGY conducts 5th cultural  and literary competition

 Chümoukedima Gorkha Youth (CGY) organised its 5th cultural and literary competition for the Gorkha students of Chümoukedima on July 7 at St Gabriel School Chümoukedima ward-5. The completion was organised on account of 205th Bhanu Jayanti celebration 2019 which is going to be held on July 13 at CTC hall Chümoukedima. 

President CGY Manoj Shrestha in his brief address encouraged the students to inculcate the habit of writing and to participate actively in literary and art works to enhance one’s skill in various areas.

During the day, various competitions on poetry reading, singing competition, painting, dance, eating competition, quiz, extempore speech, photography and debate were conducted. 

The programme was chaired by general secretary CGY, Tara Chettri, welcome note was addressed by cultural secretary CGY, Reema Chettri. Chümoukedima Gorkha Union president, advisor, general secretary and office bearers also attended the programme.

Altogether 57 Gorkha students took part in the events and competitions respectively.
