Dimapur district Taekwon-do championship 2012 was held at state indoor badminton stadium, Dimapur on July 24 and 25.

Altogether 122 players (boys/girls) from 11 schools/clubs (including two from Medziphema) competed in the sub-junior, junior and senior categories.

20 Assam Rifles Medziphema bagged the over all team champion by winning 17 gold, 4 silver and 8 bronze medals.

DDTA has extended its appreciation to Dimapur municipal council (DMC) CEO Imtirenla Jamir for gracing the opening ceremony as chief guest. DDTA has also expressed gratitude to all responsible for making the event a grand success.
