Church leaders of various denominations in Nagaland have decided to observe statewide ‘all Nagaland Churches’ day of fasting and prayer’ on August 25 (6 a.m. to 12 p.m.)

The decision was made at meeting of various Church denomination held at the NBCC conference room on August 2. Urging all Christians to seriously seek God’s intervention, the five signatories from various Church denominations-- Nagaland Baptist Church Council, Assembly of God, Catholic Church Nagaland, Nagaland Pentecostal Church Council, Nagaland Christian Revival Church stated: “at this juncture Naga people desperately need God’s intervention, enlightenment and direction”.

In this regard, all respective Church organizations, associations and local Churches have been asked to earnestly “take this program seriously and plan with much prayer”, the signatories appealed.
