Children recreational event in Dimapur culminates

 Hundreds of parents along with their children coinciding with puja holidays had an enjoyable time at the three-day Children recreational event 2019, which was organized as the first of its kind in Dimapur. 

The event was organized by The Mind Blowers Club (MBC) converting the DDSC Stadium, Dimapur into a happy wonderland complete with fun filled activities like bouncing jumbo, pools, karaoke etc. as well as take part in art competitions wherein children actively took part in.

On the second day of the event the programme was graced by Livingstone foundation higher secondary school, chairman Dr. Andrew Ahoto.

The three-day event culminated Tuesday following prize distribution for kids participating in various competitions. Attending the programme as honoured guest, former All Nagaland College Students Union (ANCSU) president Deon Swu on behalf of Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Dimapur Dr. K. Vikato Kinimi congratulated and lauded the organizing for their tremendous effort in making the event a successful one. Swu in his speech said that such events organized particularly for the children should be held annually for it will allow children to improve their skills, hand and eye coordination, balance, and overall performance.

Congratulating the children who actively participated at the various competitions, Swu lauded their efforts and asked them to do better in their endeavour. 

Speech was also delivered by Public Action Committee (PAC) convenor and social worker Vekhosayi Nyekha and Runway Nagaland proprietor Nengneithem Hengna as special guest. 

The three-day event highlighted more than 20 fun filled activities that included art competition, Karaoke and innovative ideas etc. 

The event bagged Vungrono R Patton as winner, Bendangyapang and Imlinungsung as second and third winners up. In the art competition pre-school category Imli, Aiyanna and Tuden were bagged first, second and third position, in class A and B category Lentiya, Senchumro and Ajung scored first, second and third position. In class 1 and 2 category Zuchobemo, Moajungla and Imkongsunep were bagged first, second and third position, in Class 3 and 4 category T Mary Wallim, Vungrono and Sumedem were bagged first, second and third position whereas Sungjemlenla and T Mansa Wallim were bagged first and second position respectively in class 5, 6 and 7 category.
