Chingwang Konyak, PPC condolence messages

Organisation and individual have mourned the demise of NDPP Longleng region, B Longphe Phom, who was also the former vice president of Phom People’s Council (PPC) on April 13 at District Hospital Longleng after a brief illness.

Chingwang Konyak: NDPP Nagaland president, Chingwang Konyak has expressed shock over the unfortunate demise of advisor NDPP Longleng region, B Longphe Phom on April 13. 

A condolence message issued by NDPP Nagaland president, Chingwang Konyak stated that though his association with NDPP party was brief, yet him holding key positions in influential organisations like being the vice president of the Phom People’s Council, vice chairman of Longleng Town Council, former president NPP Longleng and others, spoke volume of his calibre and devotion to serve the people as an exemplary leader. 

It stated that his demise was felt as a great loss for NDPP party and also for Naga society in general and people of Longleng in particular. 

The rank and file of NDPP joined with Chingwang Konyak in conveying heartfelt condolence to his children and family members and prayed that almighty God give strength in this hour of grief. 

PPC:  Phom People’s Council (PPC) has expressed grief over the untimely demise of former vice-president PPC and a well known public leader of Phom tribe, P. Lungphe Phom, who passed away on April 13 at Longleng. A press release from PPC president, P. Chingan Phom and vice president, N.T. Thamlong Phom stated that late P. Lungphe Phom was a “decisive, fearless and outspoken leader” whose passing away was a great loss for Nagas in general and Phom people in particular.

PPC also conveyed its deepest sympathies to the bereaved family members and prayed that the Almighty God grant them strength and solace as the departed soul rests in eternal peace.
