CIH conducts online training

Online training on “post harvest management and value addition of important horticultural crops” was conducted by central institute of horticulture (CIH), DAC & FW, ministry of agriculture, GOI, Medziphema.

According to a press release, the training was conducted on May 22 and 29 through Google meet app. The objective of the training programme was to impart technology on processing of seasonal and local fruits which are readily available and which can be processed at home during lockdown period to avoid spoilage and loss.
Meanwhile, detailed information regarding the training was sent to contacts available in the institute’s database and the number of participants invited per training was 20. A total of 28 interested participants joined the online training programme.
Earlier, Dr. N.K. Patle Dy. commissioner DAC & director i/c also interacted with the participants and encouraged them to be practical in every venture.
