Members of Pughoboto Sub-Division Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) at the meeting held on July 11, have set up committees for best performing VCC Award, Clean Village Award for 2019, with EAC as convener and others officers. 

According to DIPR, the award will be given during Thuwuni festival. 

The decision to set up the committees was taken at the meeting held under the chairmanship of SDO (C), Tiayanger Jamir at the DB court hall.  

At the meeting, Tiayanger stressed on the ban on single use plastic and therefore asked the officers to sensitise their staff, neighbourhood, shops, school institutions, religious institutions and others. The house also distributed the works for the forthcoming Independence Day celebration. 

Director Botoshe gave a presentation on how Rural Natural Connect Society has been taken up to promote organic farming in the division. The house also decided to write to the government to seek for registration of Rural Natural Connect Society. 

SDO, Soil, Pughoboto Ruokutosietuo in his powerpoint presentation highlighted other activities and benefits from soil survey and land use planning, nursery development (state plan), watershed management for sustainable agriculture production and improved livelihood and establishment of state soil Testing Laboratory Building and Equipment (NEC) and National Adaptation Fund on Climate change (NAPCC) Nodal -Agri department. 

EAC Nuhuta Tuniyi informed the officers to be ready to assist the registration of indigenous inhabitants of Nagaland which will also be implemented in the sub-division.

Meanwhile, Noklak SDPDB meeting for the month of July was held on July 10 at Integrated Ayush Hospital Noklak under the chairmanship of SDO (Civil) C. Phuniang in the presence of advisor Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, Economics, Statistics and Evaluation, L. Khumo. 

According to DIPR, the meeting discussed on issues related to Noklak area development. Advisor exhorted the members to truthfully implement the various works and be regular in station while also expecting their active participation in the various activities including the SDPDB meeting. 

LADP proposal for 2019 -20 in respect of 56th AC Thonoknyu and 57th AC Noklak were approved.  The departmental activities were presented by Agriculture and Soil departments. Work distribution for the forthcoming Independence Day celebration was also allocated.
