CMO office Peren holds District Review Meeting

The Peren District Review Meeting was held under the chairmanship of CMO, Dr. Denis Hangsing at CMO office New Peren on February 7, attended by district program officers, medical officers, nurses, pharmacist, DAPCU staff, district and block program management unit staff NHM. 

A press release from CMO office Peren, district media officer, Celine Secii stated that Dr. Denis Hangsing appreciated all members for attending the meeting and reiterated the resolution pertaining to absenteeism, that the concerned staff has to face a penalty.  

Regarding leave, he said that all leaves should be submitted through proper channels in writing. Highlighting the standing order for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, Dr. Hangsing urged for sincerity at work and requested everyone to be at their place of posting. 

Elizabeth, DPM reported that the state health agency -- Ayushman Bharat - National Health Protection Mission (AB-NHPM/ PMJAY) scheme -- in collaboration with Apollo Munich Insurance Company (AMIC) will be conducting a beneficiary identification drive (BIS Drive) for identification of AB- PMJAY beneficiaries. 

In addition, they will set up a basic health check up camp and distribute free medicines at CHC Jalukie on February 12. She also reported that a training program on bio-waste management will be held in all the four blocks. 

The district level workshop on National Immunization Day (NID) was also conducted by Dr. Nukshisangla Jamir, district program officer UIP/RCH, where she highlighted the NID-Global and national polio update. 

She also said that the Intensified Pulse Polio Immunization (IPPI) campaign would be held on March 10. 

The next review meeting has been fixed for March 5.
