CNC calls for spl prayer

Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) Friday announced that all its units and regional churches would hold a special prayer moment in the first hour of Sunday Worship Service on April 28, 2019 in their respective Churches to show solidarity with the Sri Lankan Christians and citizens and share their pains, sorrows and grief that they received on Easter Sunday (April 21, 2019) from the “hands of God’s enemies”. In a statement, CNC general secretary Rev. Seksim Kasar therefore, requested all NSCN members to attend the prayer service. CNC has also requested all the Churches, Prayer Groups and religious bodies to have a 10-minute solemn prayer moment in the beginning part of the Service for the tortured Christians in Sri Lanka and around the world. Meanwhile, CNC has expressed appreciation to the Most Rev. Dr. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima, and Catholic Churches for the call to pray for Sri Lankan Christians.
