Colouring, drawing, painting competition held at Kids Carnival

 Marking the fourth day of Kids Carnival managed by Synergy Group Enterprise and supported by Tourism Department as part of Hornbill Festival at Children’s Park in Naga Heritage village, Kisama, a colouring, drawing and painting competition was held on December 4.

15 students showcased their talent and creativity through paintings, drawing and colouring.

The competition was categorised to group A, B and C. There were 5 participants from group A (class 1-3 colouring), 5 participants from group B (class 4-6 drawing) and 5 participants from group C (class 7-9 progressive Nagaland).

The winner for group A, Sophia Gurung from Northfield Higher Secondary School was awarded a cash prize of Rs. 2000 while second place was bagged by Abhiruk Bagchi from Fernwood School, who also received cash prize of Rs. 1000. 

The winner for group B, Adarsh Gurung from Chandmari Higher Secondary School was rewarded with cash of Rs. 4000, and runner-up Visa from St Paul School got Rs. 2000.

Winning the group C event, Khrienuo Chinese from RGHSS Kohima bagged a cash prize of Rs. 5000 and the runner-up Ruokuozeü Chiese from Government Middle School got Rs. 3000.

All the winners in the three categories also received merit certificates. The competition was judged by Shoyezo Keyho and Raju Gurung.

On December 5, song competition will be held from 1 p.m. onwards.
