Condolences for late Kuotsu

NWA: The Nagaland Wrestling Association (NWA) has shocked at the sudden demise of Satuo Kuotsu, former president, Nagaland Wrestling Association on January 28 at his residence in Kohima. In a condolence message, NWA stated that late Kuotsu, during his presidentship led Nagaland wrestling team for participation in various national wresting tournaments and also organized first Mizo Naga Wrestling championship in 1978. The vacuum created by his death will be difficult to fill in and his demise is a great loss to the association in particular and Nagas in general, stated NWA.

The association conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that the departed soul rest in peace.
It may be mentioned here that Satuo Kuotsu served as NWA treasurer from 1969-74 and 1974-76 and elected as the president for 3 consecutive tenures from 1976-78, 1978-1982 and 1982-1988.
KG Kenye: KG Kenye MP (Rajya Sabha) said he was saddened by the demise of Satuo Kuotsu at his residence in Kohima on Tuesday. In his condolence message, Kenye described late Kuotsu as a very good example of an honest and successful businessman among the older generation of Nagas who had left a legacy to the new generation entrepreneurs to follow his footstep. He was a pioneer and renowned sportsman, an upright and straight forward leader, stated the MP. Kenye said that in the demise of late Kuotsu, Nagas has lost a peace loving and an honest prominent senior citizen. Kenye along with his family members conveyed deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
AYO: Angami Youth Organisation (AYO) said it was saddened by the demise of late Satuo Kuotsu. In a condolence message, AYO stated that late Kuotsu, who was amongst one of the most prominent senior citizen of the Angami community, has donned many roles as a staunch leader to serve the people and he was equally respected and revered by all. “His dedication and good demeanour has earned him success, admiration and respect from all sections as a businessman, contractor, sportsman and a politician. He was also a philanthropist whose kindness and good works will always be remembered,” it stated.
In the demise of late Kuotsu, the Angami community has lost an invaluable gentleman and a fatherly figure, it stated and also conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that the Almighty God grant eternal rest to the departed.
