Condolences for Ramongo and Asinlo

Condolence messages continue coming in for Ramongo Lotha IAS (Retd) who passed away on July 13 at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK). 
G. Kaito Aye: Minister of Agriculture and Cooperation, G. Kaito Aye along with his wife in a condolence message stated that he knew late Ramongo personally from his early days as a government servant. Kaito described late Ramongo as frank, jovial and always ready to share openly for the upliftment of the people. Kaito stated that they became closer to each other after late Ramongo joined the JD (U). He also said that even though Ramongo had lost in the last general elections as a JD (U) candidate, Kaito as JD (U) legislator and the JD (U) party functionaries would always consider him a mentor and think-tank of the party. The minister mourned that in the demise of late Ramongo, he had lost a personal friend and mentor, which was a great loss for the JD (U) party in particular and Lothas in general. He conveyed heartfelt condolences to the family members of late Ramongo Lotha and also prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul.
Further the minister also mourned the demise of Asinlo Tep, deputy director of Agriculture who passed away on July 7. Kaito described late Asinlo as a sincere officer who had been serving the department with dedication in various capacities since him joining the department in the year 1991. He conveyed deepest condolence to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul rest in eternal peace.
T. R. Zeliang: Former chief minister, T. R. Zeliang in a condolence message to Renu Jami, wife of late Ramongo Lotha, stated that late Ramongo was a man of more action than words and that he was a humble officer who was committed to his work and sincerely discharged his assignments. T. R. Zeliang along with his family conveyed their deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that departed soul rest in eternal peace.
Mmhonlumo Kikon: Advisor of NRE, IT & C, Science and Technology, Mmhonlumo Kikon has expressed shock at the sudden demise of Ramongo Jami, and said it was a great loss for the Lothas in particular. Kikon described late Ramongo as a man of integrity and a very capable officer.  Kikon remembered his association with late Ramongo when he was president of the Lotha Government Officers Association. The advisor conveyed condolences to his wife and child and prayed that the departed kind soul rest in peace.
LHD: The Lotha Hoho Dimapur (LHD) in a condolence message expressed shock at the sudden demise of Ramongo Lotha on July 13. It stated that late Ramongo’s life would continue to inspire family, dear ones and beyond. LHD also stated that late Ramongo was a person known for his dedication and courage to stand for the truth. The LHD conveyed deep-felt condolence to the bereaved family and prayers for the departed soul to rest in peace.
