Construction of 4 bedded ICU underway at CHC Jalukie

Taking into account the urgent need of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) room at Peren district designated COVID Hospital, CHC Jalukie during the COVID crisis, despite limited resources, a group of well wishers from Peren district with their own expenditure took the initiative to construct 4 bedded ICU rooms measuring about 26x16 (feet) attached with bathroom and oxygen room measuring 6x16 (feet) at CHC Jalukie.

According to a DIPR report, the construction project was initiated by banker, Haizin Mpom, CHC Jalukie staff, Izierang Nza and Namnabi Hegui as the committee members.
Well-wishers apart from constructing the ICU rooms also contributed 3 cylinders of oxygen to meet the urgent needs of CHC Hospital, Jalukie.
