CRC, NNC clarifies on CRC meet

Chakhesang Regional Council (CRC) of NNC has stated that every region has the autonomy to exercise its own regional affairs which does not affect the nation.

In a clarification to NSCN (I-M) by CRC, NNC president Velicho Rhakho stated that contrary to the claim made by secretary/CAO of NSCN (I-M) Chakhesang region, by the name of Trokho Nuh, that Adinno Phizo had summoned the CRC meeting, the CRC, NNC made it clear that it had requested Adinno to address the meeting.
Regarding sabotaging the peace talks of NSCN (I-M) and GoI, the NNC stated that it has no intention to interfere into such talk and that “the present peace talks of NSCN (I-M) with GoI is only demanding something from GoI and it is up to GoI whether to grant their demand or not”. 
CRC, NNC stated that NNC wanted the government of India to leave Nagaland and that “NNC was appealing the UNO to recognize their sovereign right”.
On the issue of acceptance of Indian Constitution in the Shillong Accord, the CRC, NNC has asked the secretary/CAO of the NSCN (I-M) to first ask “the Indian authorities if there was any valid record that the NNC had accepted the Indian constitution through the Shillong Accord of 1975.”
