CRM team monitors health units
CRM team along with the state and district officials during the exit programme in Kiphire.

Central team under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, India conducted the 13th Common Review Mission (CRM) in Kiphire district from October 18 to 21. 

A press release from CMO office district media officer Kiphire Atsali T stated that, the team covered and monitored district hospital Kiphire, community health centre Pungro and two primary health centres in Likimro and Amahator, and four upgraded health and wellness centres in Longmatra, Chomi, Phelungre and Singrep. 

During their visit, the team interacted with the community and church leaders along with the ASHA, anganwadi workers and pregnant and lactating mothers. The team also checked the core functions of the health units and also supervised the health workers and encouraged the doctors to strengthen all the health programmes.

On October 21, a de-briefing deliberation cum-13th CRM exit programme was held at district hospital conference hall, where a power-point presentation was given by team leader, Dr. Neha Dumka. 

In her presentation, she made comprehensive remark of their visit by pointing out the key findings of the district.

The programme was chaired by deputy CMO Dr. Tinurenla Anichari and folk song was presented by Seyochung Village Union, Kiphire Town Women Folk. A closing remark was given by Nyembo Wallim, SDO (Civil) Kiphire. 

The team was led by Dr. Neha Dumka, sr. consultant National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) assisted by Dr. Kapil Joshi, UNICEF consultant and Care India representative, Dr. Amlan Majumdar and Ayushi Rai (NHSRC) consultant and Dr. Manjari a research fellow and Srinadh, representative from NITI Aayog and Harikrishnan national health mission (NHM), finance from Ministry of H&FW. 

The monitoring team was accompanied and assisted by state and district team.

During the 13th CRM visit, the state team was led by additional director, Dr. Bendangla Longkumer, Dr. N. W Ezung, SPO, NCD & Dr. Thonghoi Lam, SPO, (NHM) & Dr. Kikameren deputy director, Planning & Dr. Akaba Jamir, deputy director (RCH) & Dr. Apichetla APO, (RNTCP) & Dr. Longri Kichu (UNICEF) consultant & Pairson Rapungna, programme officer, (CPHC, Jhpiego), & Kukehieto Tase (NVBDCP) consultant.
