CRPF celebrates 80th Raising Day at 78 Battalion Zubza

Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), the largest armed police force in the world celebrated its 80th Raising Day with great zeal and enthusiasm on Thursday at 78 Battalion CRPF headquarters, Zubza and its company locations. 

A press release by CRPF stated that the celebration started in the morning with wreath laying ceremony at Martyrs Memorial for the brave hearts who had sacrificed their lives to safeguard the nation by officers and jawans.

The release said guard of honour ceremony was given to Commandant (AOL), Ram Chandra. 

In the Sainik Sammelan, Ram Chandra conveyed his greetings towards the internal security of the nation and reiterated that efforts made to modernize the force with sophisticated weapons and other equipment to meet the challenges in operational theatre. 

He also emphasized the need of Swachh Camp and awareness about the zero tolerance for plastic and wastage segregation and management system.

  In the evening competitive event involving the families of Jawans was conducted. Inter Company shuttle badminton competition and cultural programme were other highlights of the event.
