CRPF celebrates ‘Valour Day’ at Zubza

Remembering the sacrifices made by the soldiers and courage rendered by CRPF, 78 Bn CRPF, “Valour Day” was celebrated on Tuesday at the Unit Hqs, Zubza, Kohima.

A press release by CRPF stated that on the occasion, second-in-command, commandant (AOD)-78 Bn CRPF, Ram Chandra and other senior officers and jawans laid wreaths and paid homage to the martyrs at the Jai Jawan Memorial.

Ram Chandra briefed the men about the significance of the occasion through “sainik sammelan”. 

The officers and men of the unit also participated in “shramdan” at the unit campus to promote the “Swacch Bharat Abhiyan”. Badminton competition, cultural programmes with patriotic fever was also organised.
