CTSU, PAC condemn Jul 12 murder

Chümoukedima Town Students’ Union (CTSU) and Public Action Committee (PAC) of Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) have condemned the murder of Tasenjungla, whose body was recovered at a pond near Green Timber Mill, Chümoukedima.

In a condemnation note, CTSU president, Kezhawelie Richa and general secretary, Kenivi Yhoshü, expressed outrage and vehemently condemn the murder by Sanjay Lodh (20) son of Gopal Lodh, a resident of police Complex Chümoukedima. 
CTSU said it would not remain mute spectators when such felonies are being committed and warned that the union would take any means of action to deliver justice. Meanwhile, the union conveyed deepest sympathy to the bereaved family.
PAC: PAC of NCD while vehemently condemning the gruesome murder has strongly appealed to the concerned authority to not release the accused, Sanjay Lodh under any circumstance. It also affirmed to leave no stone unturned to reveal the truth that transpired in the death of a young Naga girl.
Saying that it was shocked and appalled by the heinous crime boldly perpetrated on a simple Naga girl, PAC said such acts cannot be tolerated and appealed to the authorities to award the severest punishment under the law.
