CWSK condemns assault on minor girls in Kohima

Chakhesang Women Society Kohima (CWSK) has condemned the alleged sexual assault on two minor girls at Kezieke Colony, Kohima on July 8 by Hassan Ahmed of Malua, Karimganj district, Assam. 

Chakhesang Women Society Kohima in a condemnation note by its president Neikhwepeu Khalo and general secretary, Meneno V said it was appalled and alarmed at the matter of grave concern not only for the two girls but at the serious threat to safety and security of all children.  
While condemning the “hideous act”, Chakhesang Women Society Kohima  stated that such a person with a perverted mind does not belong in the society. It also appealed to the concerned authorities to thoroughly investigate and award befitting punishment to the accused, which would act as a deterrent for the future.
