DBBE training for teachers underway

Don Bosco Board Education (DBBE) has organised a six-day training programme from February 25 till March 2 for teachers in the art of counselling students at DBIDL, Don Bosco School.

A press release from DBBE stated that, while speaking at the training programme, Rev Fr Nazarius Lakra, vice provincial, Dimapur province stressed on the urgency of counselors in all the educational institutions. Rev Fr Joseph TT, head of the education commission of Dimapur province delivered a welcome address, while welcome song and cultural items were performed by the staff and students of DB tech, AIDA. 

Workshop will be training about 130 teachers of the North East and is being conducted in three batches, where a batch of 44 teachers hails from seventeen schools of North East. Rev Fr Paul Raj, director, Niraivagam, Don Bosco institute of psychological services, Chennai is the resource person.
