DBCK holds 3rd gratitude day

Don Bosco College Kohima (DBCK) held its 3rd gratitude day at the college premises on March 7, with the Salesian co-operators as special invitees namely Linus, David, Issac and Henry. 

A press release from DBCK stated that, during the programme, Linus, Salesian co-operator, Kohima unit, in his speech remarked that the outgoing students will start a new beginning with new opportunities. Also highlighting on God’s unconditional love, he urged upon the students not to wish for the best alone but to move forward towards excellence.

College principal, in his speech, underlined on the journey of life and remarked that the journey offers joy, sorrows, and unexpected surprises. Stressing on the college values, he further exhorted the outgoing students to have moral and spiritual values throughout their lives and encouraged them to dedicate for humanity.

Speech on behalf of the staff was delivered by Kezienuo while R. Kangluba, BA 6th semester delivered speech on behalf of the outgoing batch. 

Highlight of the programme was a special candle ceremony where the 149 outgoing students lighted individual candles symbolizing their light that they would take with them as they pass out from the college. Best Bosconian Award for students, certificate of appreciation to teachers and special number by Silu and Thuchi BA 4th semester also marked the day. Programme was organized by the 4th semester students under the leadership of Dr. Thoshimenla.
