DC Dimapur asks employees to be sincere

Deputy Commissioner and vice-chairman of DPDB Dimapur, Kevekha Kevin Zehol has asked the officers to undertake their assigned duties with sincerity and dedication by reminding them that they are “fortunate” to be posted in Dimapur.   

According to DIPR, the DC made this statement while addressing the monthly Dimapur District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) at DC’s office conference hall, Dimapur on May 7.

The DC also asked the members to be regular stating that important issues pertaining to the district were being discussed during the board meeting. 

In the meeting, the board members after deliberation, and observing the presentation made by representatives of the proposed societies, recommended the following proposals for registration of societies: Nagaland Organic Konnect, Nyamo Lotha Road Dimapur; Ayurvedic Doctors’ Association, Dimapur; N. N. Nagi Educational Society, Kuda Village Dimapur; People’s Hope, Kuda village Dimapur. 

The board also recommended the proposal to upgrade GMS Phaipijang to High School level and opening of new school, Milon Public school, Padumpukhuri Dimapur.

As entrusted, Urban Development and Agriculture departments gave presentation focusing on the ongoing activities of their respective departments.

In the next DPDB meeting, district Veterinary and Soil and Water Conservation departments have been requested to make the departmental presentation.
