DC Kiphire informs on weekly market

The Deputy Commissioner of Kiphire, Sarita Yadav has informed that from January 31, a regular weekly market at Kiphire town will begin to help and promote the farmers local entrepreneurs, Self-Help Groups, etc to provide Agri linkage and marketing prospects to other markets and town. 

In a notification issued by DC Kiphire, the weekly market will also provide easy access for public to local produce and other basic commodities. A regular weekly market will be held at Kiphire town daily market area from morning 5 a.m. to 1 p.m. The weekly market will be taken charge by the administrator Kiphire Town Council in organizing and monitoring the weekly market. 

The DC has appealed to the general public, village council, town wards, NGO organizations to encourage to participate in the weekly market and also informed all the interest person to bring their products, wares and sell at the weekly market for a nominal fee of Rs, 10/- which will be charged by the executive committee from every participant for post clean-up of the market area.
