DC Kohima informs on ILP

With a view to further strengthen the ILP system and check the movement of illegal immigrants, the deputy commissioner of Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan has stated that the following documents and criteria would be followed in issuing ILP with immediate effect: Recent colour passport size photograph of the applicants and guarantor (2 Nos); ID proof required from both applicant and guarantor, Indian passport, aadhar car, PAN card, EPIC, Govt ID card; PRC issued by DC’s office of respective home districts for residents of Assam; Character antecedent certificate issued by the SP of respective home district for residents of Assam; Photocopy of page from the draft NRC roll showing the particulars of the applicant, duly certified and attested by the concerned area administrative officer for residents of Assam; Renewal of ILP will require surrender of previous ILP issued by this office; ILP applications without required documents, detailed address and mobile contact of both guarantor and applicant will be rejected.
