DC Kohima issues order on containment zones

 Deputy commissioner Kohima Gregory Thejawelie has informed that in view of the detection of a COVID-19 positive person residing at Daklane Colony Kohima, municipal ward -7 and  Kezieke Colony Kohima, municipal ward -3, the  areas defined below are demarcated as Containment Zone in order to contain the spread of the disease/infection and for necessary contact tracing. According to DIPR report, all movement of person/vehicles within the defined Containment Zones/areas are strictly restricted/prohibited and under active surveillance.

Demarcated area 

East: New Market Main Road, Below Pentecostal Church

West: Footstep Near Sector-C GB’s Residence, Footstep near Community well,   Footstep near UCRC Church

South: Footstep Near Viswema Brothers Building

North: Footstep, Near M. Electronics, New Market Road till Nullah near UCRC Church. 

East: Old Tata Parking till Footstep between KFC and Vonuo Tyre Workshop (Main NH) West: Footstep near Keziekie Naga Bazaar boundary till Nagaland Timber Agency (Saw Mill) South: Old Tata Parking Footstep Near Masjid till Naga Bazaar Road

North: Footstep between KFC and Vonuo Tyre Workshop till Nagaland Timber Agency (Saw Mill).This is for information and strict compliance of all concerned.

AQC declared as Containment Zone

DC Mokokchung has declared Amukloshi quarantine centre (AQC), FazI Ali College campus, Chuchuyimpang as Containment Zone in view of one person having been confirmed COVID-19 positive, from among the returnees at Amukloshi quarantine centre. DC Mokokchung informed that this was in accordance to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by directorate of Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland with immediate effect.
