DDGBA for retaining incumbent DC Dimapur

Reacting to the transfer of Dimapur DC Anoop Khinchi during “these precarious and unfortunate times,” the Dimapur District GBs Association (DDGBA) in line with Dimapur Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Dimapur District Citizens’ Forum, Dimapur Urban Council Chairmen Federation, Naga Council Dimapur, Dimapur Naga Students’ Union and other CSOs/NGOs has also decried the sudden transfer of the said officer.

DDGBA president Khehovi V. Chophi and general secretary, L. Ponghok Phom in a press release has justified that DC Anoop Khinchi leading the DTF and other frontline workers has shown “undaunting statesmanship and unwavering spirit” and deserves accolades.
Pointing out that, “we holds no grudges against the new DC, (whomsoever) nor are we interfering with the working system of the government”, the DDGBA stated that replacing the incumbent DC who had been in office for just a few months “appears too haphazard, absurd, farcical and very uncalled for.”
Dimapur District GBs Association therefore has beseeched upon the wisdom of government’s competent authorities to re-consider and immediately revoke the order and retain the incumbent DC, so as to enable him to continue shouldering the responsibilities, which he has been executing efficiently.
