DDLSA conducts legal awareness

Dimapur District Legal Services Authority (DDLSA) organized a legal awareness program at Niu Colony, Dimapur on July 18.
A press release by Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NSLSA) Kohima, public relation assistant stated that, Sangto Longchar, panel lawyer DDLSA spoke on basic legal rights, Yambemo Ngullie panel lawyer DDLSA spoke on “consumer rights and protection”. 
Visheli H. Yeptho, panel lawyer DDLSA highlighted “domestic violence and the rights of women”, Sentimenla, panel lawyer DDLSA spoke on “trafficking and commercial exploitation.” 
Summing up the program, Ajongba Imchen, CJM Dimapur and secretary DDLSA highlighted the legal rights of the citizens and lamented that lack of knowledge about rights was a stumbling block to all round development. The program was chaired by Moatila Ao, panel lawyer DDLSA and Aheto Zhimo, deacon DSBC invoked God’s blessing. Welcome address was delivered by Kisheto Katty, chairman Niu Colony, Burma camp. The program was attended by around 200 denizens of Niu Colony.
