DFO-cum-DMU offices inaugurated in Kiphire

Offices of District forest office (DFO)-cum-Divisional management unit (DMU), Kiphire was officially inaugurated at Forest Colony, Kiphire by V. Kashiho Sangtam minister of Soil & Water Conversation, Geology & Mining on January 27.

According to DIPR report, minister in his short speech congratulated the officers, staffs and the team involved for completing the project. He stated that Kiphire people were fortunate to have dedicated officers who were working hard for the development of the district. He appealed to all the heads of offices to have coordination and to cooperate with one another for the upliftment of the district.

Rajesh Kumar, DMU head Kiphire in his keynote address stated it was a significant day  for the department of Environment Forests & Climate Change for completing the project one year ahead of time. He congratulated and thanked his team for rendering their time and tireless efforts towards the construction of the office building.

Programme was chaired by Siechutho Katiry, ADMU, Kiphire while dedicatory prayer was offered by Chopongkyu, senior pastor KBL. Short speeches were also delivered by Rongsenlemla Imchen, IFC, CF (NTC) and Dr. Atsase Thongtsar, OSD to minister, EFCC. Vote of thanks was done by FMU head, Kiphire Bendangtemsu.

Meanwhile, on January 26, minister held a short meeting with district officers at Kiphire on January 26, wherein he apprised the district officers to properly implement government programmes in the district. He also urged the district officers to be in the station and help the area people.
